**Mun Twitter** is a dead meme GIF that originated from the user SuneMun on the GIF sharing site Tenor. It was presumably used by SuneMun after its creation in 2021 and was left to become obscure, however, a year later, it was somehow found and sent in Cumball by the prominent member Lo-Fi Playlist where it was reposted and laughed at for a few months before it became stale and obscure once again. The GIF still exists today on Tenor, but is less harder to find than it used to be.((Usually typing in "mun twitter" into Tenor's search box or Discord's GIF search would make it appear immediately, but this is no longer the case.))

This dead meme serves as the namesake of both this wiki and the previous Mun Twitter Wiki hosted on Wikia/Fandom until it was taken down for inactivity. The information present in that wiki serves as a source for some of the information in this wiki especially on pages about Discord groups and Discord users who are no longer active or do not want to give truthful information for use in the wiki.

Origin
The Tenor GIF was uploaded on 9/28/2021 at 11:50 PM by SuneMun with the description "a cartoon girl with pink hair is laughing with the words mun twitter written below her". It's a GIF of a Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid scene from Season 1, Episode 12 where the characters Tohru and Miss Kobayashi drunkenly laugh together with the caption "Mun Twitter" below it in white text((The font used appears to be Nexa Black, a paid font from the foundry Fontfabric released in 2012. There are free fonts that look similar like Montserrat Extra-bold 800, but that font lacks the extra height of Nexa's capitals and the angled slices on the tops of and the sides of some lowercase letters that would make it look near-identical. It looks convincing at a distance and is still considered for the MTW logo font if problems emerge with the use of the current font.)). The GIF's theorized intention or use is to be used as a reaction GIF to SuneMun's Twitter posts (although no Twitter user by the name of SuneMun exists as of writing)
