**Marylin Palmer May**, known primarily by her chosen nickname **Monopole Mary** is the main protagonist of the [[Monopole Mary franchise]]. She is frequently paired with her benefactor and loyal assistant [[Dipole David]]. She is a striking, young blonde-haired, fit, adult woman with, paranoid schizophrenia and acquired trauma. Which is presumably acquired from the witnessing of, or succumbing to, sexual assault at a young age, in her childhood home in Palm Beach Florida. This trauma can cause her to have a panic attacks, Heart attacks, and schizophrenic episodes. While medicated and away from any triggers, she can function in society reasonably well without any assistance.

And raised in Palm Beach Florida between May of 1999 - 2017. **Marylin Palmer May** ((Monopole Mary)) was an only child and subject to emotionally shut-off and usually absent parents. This forged the strong self-reliance and hardheadedness we see in **Mary** ((Marylin Palmer May)). With **Mary** ((Marylin Palmer May)) moving out at 18 shortly after high-school graduation in late 2017, to pursue her dream of Detective work and Journalism. In this en devour Mary moved all around the country, never putting any real roots anywhere. Shortly meeting her best pal [[Dipole David]] ((David Whittman Smith)) or as she ((Marylin Palmer May)) referrers to him, "**Davie**" ((David Whittman Smith)). It seems David ((David Whittman Smith)) fell head over heels for **Mary** ((Marylin Palmer May)), but without the balls to tell her, he subjects his life to servitude in hopes of reciprocal feelings.
